Briefly: Sonic Impact T-Amp, RIP Qualia?, Cassette adapters round-up, Baidu update, iDuo dock & card reader, 200GB Nano
- Sonic Impact T-Amp is an $40 integrated amplifier that’s, apparently, out of this world (it’s supposed to have an incredible performance, rivalings amplifiers that cost much more—I’ve got to get that one) [via]
- RIP Qualia? (Sony’s line of products for the rich and famous pays the price for being ridiculously overpriced—the keyword here is ridiculously, even for a rich man’s standards; they’ve gone bust more or less gone in Japan, and will exist in the US “as long as there is demand in the marketplace”—whatever that means) [via]
- Fall 2005 Cassette Tape Adapter Shootout (the iLounge folks opine on various cassette tape adapters)
- Baidu Facing the Music Over MP3 Function (an update, or rather wrap-up, on the charges the popular chinese search engine is facing, for providing links to unathorized music files; read our previous coverage—hint-hint: this function still works, and you don’t have to know chinese to use it)
- iDuo is an iPod dock and card reader (compatible with HDD-based iPods; needs two USB connections to perform both functions though) [via]
- DIY: A 200GB Nano (ugly and meaningless hack, but then again that’s the point of it! if you ever decide to do this, please take in mind that the battery won’t last long) [via]
