- Review: Creative DDTS-100 / GigaWorks S750 (rating: 7.5/10; fairly positive review for this 7.1 speaker set and surround sound decoder: “this 700W ensemble packs enough punch to put some of the mainstream home-theater-in-a-box (HTIB) to shame”; price: ~$582 which is a lot, but dude, 700W amplifier output)
- New Sony SACD/DVD Multi-Channel Amplifier TA-DA9100ES (plays SACDs and DVDs; features Sony’s 32bit S-Master PRO digital amplifier technology, automatic sound field revision; offers a HDMI output capable of 1080p; it’s yours for the humble price of ~$6,100)
