Three new Dell DJ models coming
Three new offerings from the Texas-based company, according to PC Mag. We’ve got the flash-based DJ Ditty (kudos on an aweful name by the way) that sports an LCD screen and FM tuner; it may come out as soon as next week, with its 512MB version going for less than $100. There’s also the new Dell DJ (replacement to the current model – shown in the picture) and Pocket DJ; HDD-based, color screens (where you can view your pictures), FM-tuners for both, expected to debut later this fall. There’s also some speculation regarding XM Satellite Radio support but (a) we don’t whether this means live streaming or just the ability to reproduce previous XM recordings, and (b) we’ll believe it when we see it. Expect the Dell DJ to come with a 30GB drive, and a special edition Pink DJ that’s only different in color from the standard model. (Yeah, we’re sure your girlfriend will love this one.) Finally, we may also see an expanded live of DJ accessories: car kit, armbands, protective cases. [via]
